Arthur Athans was a 24th century Human man who worked at Starfleet Academy.
Biography[]
In 2371, Athans chaired the Classics department at Starfleet Academy, which focused on written languages and classical literature. He managed staff that included Professors Richard Derosiers, T'Lan, and Gerran Vey. He oversaw a curriculum that included CLAS 113 Elementary Latin, CLAS 114 Classical Vulcan, CLAS 200 Selected Topics in Classical Literature, CLAS 211 Ancient Literature and the Formation of Culture, and CLAS 396 Advanced Topics in Classics.
