History[edit | edit source]
While on assignment guarding a 10,000-year-old mummy, Asherman complained to fellow guard Manning that they were "playing nursemaid" to a corpse, but shortly afterward both were knocked unconscious. Asherman was unaware that the mummy had attacked him, overrode navigational settings in the main computer, then quietly returned to its sarcophagus.
Background[edit | edit source]
- Asherman was named for Allan Asherman, writer of Who's Who in Star Trek and TOS reference: The Star Trek Compendium. (The Monster Times Issue 2: "Writing Star Trek for Fun and Profit")
