For the Bajoran crewmember of the USS Voyager, see Tabor.

Aubin Tabor was a Ullian male and a Federation ambassador living in the 24th century.

Biography[]

In 2372, Tabor and his fiancee Admiral Marta Batanides were dispatched on the USS Enterprise to help mediate peace between the government of Chiaros IV and a militaristic splinter group called the Army of Light, and to convince the Chiarosians to join the Federation instead of the Romulan Star Empire. However, unbeknownst to everyone Tabor was a Section 31 agent whose mission was to help make sure that the people of Chiaros voted to join the Romulan Empire in exchange for a list of Romulan Tal Shiar operatives within the Federation.

When Tabor learned that the other Section 31 operative on the Chiaros mission, his protégé Commander Cortin Zweller, may have been killed since his ship the USS Slayton was destroyed, he tried to recruit a new agent onboard the Enterprise. After conducting a thorough research trough the Enterprise's database, he chose to approach Lieutenant Sean Hawk. He presented a persuasive argument with the help of his telepathic abilities, but Hawk remained conflicted and needed time to thing over the offer. Tabor asked him to keep matters a secret, to which the young lieutenant agreed.

Upon reaching Chiaros, Tabor joined Captain Jean-Luc Picard and several of his senior officers to a peace talk between the head of the Chiarosian government First Protector Rokhelh and the leader of the Army of Light Falhain. In an effort to sabotage a talks to further his mission, Tabor used his telepathic abilities to amplify the negative emotions of the Chiarosian participants. However his plan backfired when a fight broke out between the two factions and the Federation delegates were caught in the cross fire. Tabor received fatal injuries during the struggle and died in the Enterprise's sickbay. (TNG - Section 31 novel: Rogue)
