Avery was a star with an associated star system, located in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant, in or near the boundaries of the space claimed by the Vidiian Sodality government. Avery was a type A blue-white star, and was in the general vicinity of the Komar Nebula. Avery's orbit was the location of a number of planets, including third planet Avery III, the location of a Vidiian medical research outpost colony. (ST reference: Star Charts; VOY episode: "Faces")
