Axelot II was a planet located in the Eta Eridani sector block and the second planet in the Axelot system. It was colonized by the Gorn and became a vassal state of the Klingon Empire after the conquest of the Gorn Hegemony in 2403. (STO novel: The Needs of the Many)
In 2409, Axelot II was among the worlds of the former Gorn Hegemony where parts of the population rebelled openly against the Klingons. The KDF dispatched an assault squad to suppress the uprising.
