Ayers was a Human woman, a Starfleet yeoman who served aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2260s.

In 2269, after the ship's Christmas party, Ayers took a signed PADD from James T. Kirk. He asked her to deliver the orders to the appropriate stations throughout the ship. (TAS - Log Two novelization: The Survivor)
