Azarog was a Gorn Zulta-osol in the 24th century. He was Lord Imperator Sozzerozs's Zulta-osol.

Aside from being Zulta-osol, Azarog had a liking for art, many times considering leaving politics to become an artist. When he visited Trill, the cold springs had given him an idea for a later project he had wanted to undertake.

In 2384, Azarog accompanied Lord Imperator Sozzerozs to the planet Orion, who met with President Nanietta Bacco. While there, Sozzerozs negotiated a possible alliance, which had really been a ruse to simply draw out Bacco. As part of the plan, a party was organized at the Bank of Orion, which would allow Bacco to be in a possibly insecure location. After she was drawn out, the Breen Confederacy proceeded with their assassination attempt. Having replaced Esperanza Piñiero with an android, the doppelganger began firing into the crowd. Azarog avoided being hit along with Sozzerozs. Azarog believed they shouldn't jump on the assumption the Breen were responsible for the attack, after it was brought up. Later on, when the bank was attacked, Azarog hid in the bank's vault along with Bacco, Safranski, and Sozzerozs. Azarog survived, having watched Togor die right in front of him. Azarog was later ordered to contact a Gorn named Gozorra, who would provide Starfleet with intelligence on the Breen, after it was discovered they Breen had been responsible for the death of Togor and Szamra.
