Azeni Korena was a Bajoran female who lived during the 24th and 25th centuries. She is called "Rena" by her friends and family.

Biography

Her parents, Azeni Jiram and Azeni Lariah, were heroes of the Resistance and died during a rescue mission. She was adopted by Marja and Topa, her aunt and uncle. (DS9 novel: Bajor: Fragments and Omens)

In late 2376, Jake Sisko met her when he went on a walkabout across Bajor. The two fell in love, and after a short courtship and engagement, they were married.
