Azerbaijan is a nation on Earth.

History[]

In the late 20th century, the forces of the Artsakh Republic launched an assault on the village of Ağdam in Azerbaijan, causing its entire population to flee. The invading army then destroyed what was left of the village. (TOS novel: Allegiance in Exile)

According to Khan Noonien Singh, Augments absorbed Azerbaijan into the Central Asian Union in September 1992. By 1996, Azerbaijan was part of the Khanate before the Augment dictatorships were overthrown. (TOS - Khan comics: "Issue 2", "Issue 3")
