Azna (or asna) was a type of food which could be served steamed, sautéed, rolloped or fricasseed.

Steamed azna was a favorite food of Jadzia Dax, and she once recommended it to Benjamin Sisko, stating that it would put years on his life. (DS9 episode: "A Man Alone")

In 2372, Lieutenant Sean Hawk claimed that the steamed azna produced by the replicator's aboard the USS Enterprise-E "needed work". (TNG eBook: A Sea of Troubles)

Lieutenant Rao of the USS Musgrave was noted for making very good asna dumplings. (SCE eBook: Security)
