Azure sector

Azure sector (sometimes also known as Sector Acamar) was a sector of space located in the Tau Dewa sector block of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, according to Federation measurement standards and terminology in stellar cartography.

History and specifics[]

Azure sector was the location of the Khitomer system and the Azure Nebula, among other star systems and planetary locations. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

Sector Acamar was the location of the Acamar star system. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)

Sector Acamar was referenced in BotF when the onscreen text descriptions would call out the sector name of each grid component with the name of the system contained within. Since a majority of other sources confirm Acamar is within the Azure sector, the two names seem to refer to the same sector.

Background[]

Due to changes in the game mechanics of Star Trek Online, the sector block system was eliminated and the contents of many sectors ended up being rearranged into different borders. For the purposes of this wiki, these are considered to be overlapping regions.
