B6 Blue (aka Bishop) was a female Nasat scientist and Starfleet officer in the 23rd century.

Biography[]

In 2249 B6 Blue held the rank of lieutenant, and was assigned to the Vulcan Science Academy on Vulcan, where she participated in a project involving artificial gravity. There she met Sarek, at that time an astrophysicist at the Academy, and his son Spock. It was Spock's interactions with B6 Blue that inspired him to join Starfleet.

During this period, B6 Blue managed to disprove Occita's theorem. This scientific breakthrough led to more comfortable interstellar travel.

In 2268, B6 Blue held the rank of commodore, and was commanding officer of "The Yard", a top secret Federation research base. That year, she tried to recruit Spock to join her team, though Spock opted to stay aboard the USS Enterprise. (TOS - Constellations short story: "Devices and Desires")
