BBC News (1922- ) was a 20th and 21st century news-gathering organization based in the United Kingdom on Earth, a division of the British Broadcasting Corporation.

On 17 September 1992 of the Kelvin timeline, BBC News broadcast footage from southern Virginia in the United States after a nuclear bomb was dropped by Augments on Washington, DC. British Prime Minister John Major watched the bulletin as the transmission was hijacked by Khan Noonien Singh, who announced the Augment takeover of Earth. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 2")
