Ba'M'eel was a 24th century Orion man, an officer in Starfleet with the rank of ensign in the 2370s decade.
Ensign Ba'M'eel served on the Federation starship USS Defiant in the year 2371, working at a battle station. He was the only Orion in the crew at the time, and though young, he was considered talented. (DS9 novel: The Long Night)
