A bahoon is a type of bipedal animal lifeform with a triangle shaped head that lives in the mountains on Xenex. They are easily frightened unless they've gone mad.
A genetically altered bahoon that had tentacles and breathed water, created by Doctor Marius Bethom, attacked a young Elizabeth Shelby in the Atlantic Ocean but was killed by Mackenzie Calhoun. (NF novel: Stone and Anvil)
