Bajor VIII, or Andros is the second M class planet in the Bajoran system; it is also the only class M planet of the five outer planets in the Bajoran system. The eighth planet in the system, it's the site of six Bajoran colonies, and had thousands of people living on the planet. (RPG: Star Trek Deep Space Nine Roleplaying Game Narrator's Toolkit)

One of the moons of Bajor VIII was the site of a meeting between the Bajoran terrorist Tahna Los and the Klingons Lursa and B'Etor. The Klingon women provided Tahna with a bilitrium explosive which he intended to use to collapse the entrance to the Bajoran wormhole. Major Kira Nerys was able to stop Tahna from exploding the device near the wormhole, and the device was harmlessly detonated in the Gamma Quadrant. (DS9 episode: "Past Prologue")
