In 2370, one such craft was being piloted by Major Kira Nerys and Lieutenant Jadzia Dax in their effort to reach the Bajoran Provisional Government and reveal the truth behind the Alliance for Global Unity's coup d'etat. (DS9 episode: "The Siege", CCG set: Deep Space Nine, CCG set: Second Edition)

The interceptors were designed without comfort in mind, offering cramped quarters and requiring occupants to bend their knees to fit in the seats.
