Baker's World is a planet located in the region of space known as The Triangle, and is the lead center for the Affiliation of Outer Free Worlds. It is Baker's World that is the source of the unofficial name for the AOFW, 'Baker's Dozen'.

Supported by a spaceport at Bakersville, the planet is a major trading power within the Triangle. Most of its wealth comes from rich, although very deep, mineral deposits. Furthermore, Baker's World maintains an open trade policy which is designed to develop the planet's resources to their fullest potential.

Surprisingly, Baker's World has little hardcore criminal activity despite the wealth to be had.

There are no restrictions on freedom of expression, and most of the inhabitants are content to allow Willis J.F. Baker, the latest charismatic member of the Baker family, to be president and exercise his control over the governing representative body. President Baker is also the leader of the AOFW. (FASA reference book The Triangle)

Around reference stardate 2/23, Baker's World was the home assignment of Starfleet Intelligence agent Lieutenant Commander Semak, who had assumed a cover identity in front organization Conestoga Terraforming AG. (FASA RPG module: Star Fleet Intelligence Manual)
