The Balrosh system was a star system located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

Balrosh's orbit was the location of a number of planets, including Xueebux, Hytar, Nuofo, and Desta.

Prior to the 2260s, Destans were believed to have migrated to another star system, but one fleet of Destan spaceships remained behind.

In 2266, the starship USS Enterprise was attacked while exploring the system, forcing James T. Kirk to become involved in an interplanetary civil war between the three planets. (TOS comic: "The Third Party")

System makeup[]

Appendices[]

Background info[]

A planet named Desta appears editorially unrelated works: TOS comic: "The Third Party" and ST video game: Fleet Command. The name of the associated system went unmentioned in The Third Party but Fleet Command named the system Balrosh.
