Bamberg was a Human who lived on Torgu-Va in the year 2367.
Bamberg commanded the Battle Group Bamberg which was defending the human settlement of Delta Eleven on Torgu-Va. The Tarn forces overran Delta Eleven and Bamberg was killed in the process.
Bamberg was the descendant of the USS Verdun crewmember Bamberg. (TNG novel: The Forgotten War)
