Base Station Delta V was a Romulan starbase in service during the 2270s decade.

Service history[]

It was located not far from the Romulan Neutral Zone and Gallus III. The two largest areas on the station were a pair of hangar bays.

A trio of Vas Hatham-class vessels captured war criminal Luthar Akris' transport and brought it to Base Station Delta V. In exchange for not being killed, Akris prepared his Nightbringer metaweapon for testing at the station. A type-4 shuttlecraft from the USS Enterprise pursued Akris' ship to the station in hopes of destroying the weapon. (TOS - The Motion Picture: Echoes comic: "Issue 2")

Explosive charges set near the exterior hull by Hikaru Sulu and Pavel Chekov drew attention so that they and General Nyota Uhura could blast through the docking bay doors and escape in Akris' ship. Akris convinced Commander Toth to testfire the Nightbringer on a planet, and the Dreadnought prototype Raptor was summoned to the station to beam it and them aboard. (TOS - The Motion Picture: Echoes comic: "Issue 3")

Romulan Ambassador Nanclus complained to the Federation President in Paris that Kirk's crew had "committed numerous acts of aggression" at the station. Admiral Ubah Mohamed charged that the station was harboring a criminal and building a weapon of mass destruction. (TOS - The Motion Picture: Echoes comic: "Issue 4")
