History[]
Exploration of the Trexelian Expanse was underway by stardate 73XX.6 (circa 2270), led by the USS Valiant and its replacement, the USS Trexelprise. Due to unidentified temporal phenomena, objects and people from throughout the 23rd and 24th centuries, especially the 2260s and 2370s decades, were encountered throughout the expanse. By the time the USS Trexelprise-D and USS Voyager-V were in service, Starfleet and allied ships from both centuries began engaging in war games to test their mettle against hostile forces.
