The Battle of Britain was a continuous conflict during World War II when Nazi Germany attacked Great Britain with aircraft.

Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien had a holosuite program of the Battle of Britain in which they played British Royal Air Force spitfire pilots. (DS9 episodes: "Homefront", "Accession")

O'Brien's knowledge of the time period of the Battle of Britain proved to be useful when he found himself in Normandy just before D-Day after temporal displacement. (DS9 novel: Trapped in Time)
