Belak was a binary star system in Romulan Star Empire space in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, consisting of a class G primary star and a class K companion star.
History and specifics[]
In the 23rd century of the Kelvin timeline, the Belak system was considered to be in Romulan space, located at coordinates -4115, 58. Notable known nearby systems included Glintara, Ferraria and, outside of Romulan space, Xices. There were resources of dilithium to be found here. (ST video game: Fleet Command)

The Belak system could be visually identified from Space Station KR-3. In the year 2311, Elias Vaughn stood in front of a viewport on the space station and tested his memory, naming all the major stars he could see in Romulan space. (TLE novel: Serpents Among the Ruins)
