The Benak Haran were one of the nomadic groups of natives that lived in the deserts of planet Obsidian. They were considered a violent culture, tending to "shoot first, ask questions later." There were several clans within the Benak Haran, including the White Stone Clan. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Forge)
