The Benecia Colony was the Federation colony settlement on the planet Benecia, in the Benecia system of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. (TOS episode & Star Trek 1 novelization: The Conscience of the King, TOS episode & Star Trek 5 novelization: Turnabout Intruder)

Following his retirement as director of the Tarsus IV hospital system, Donovan Eames and his wife relocated to Benecia Colony in order to put their past behind them. They were able to live there in relative obscurity until Shannon Moulton published her book on the Tarsus IV Massacre and its aftermath in 2256. (DSC novel: Drastic Measures)
