Benson (TV series)

Benson was a comedic television program on Earth in the late 20th century. This program was enjoyed by Neelix, who believed the roles of "Pete" and "Clayton" were well acted. (VOY reference: Star Trek Cookbook)

"Pete John (P.J.) Downey" was played by Neelix actor Ethan Phillips, while "Clayton" was played by fellow Star Trek veteran Rene Auberjonois. The full name; Clayton Endicott, III, was also the middle name and title for Reginald Barclay.
