The Benzar smuggler was a type of starship in use in the mid-23rd century of the Kelvin timeline.

History and specifications[]

The Benzar smuggler was descriptively named for its use by smugglers from the vicinity of the planet Benzar in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. As the name suggests, Benzar smuggler vessels were often used by criminal elements throughout the local quadrants, and were hostile to independent parties as well as those belonging to major factions. It is unclear if this non-player (NPC) vessel was built or outfitted by the Benzite civilization or if it was simply named for originating in their region of space. There seemed to be a sizable number of these vessels, but that might be an example of video game logic.
