Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Benzev Kaz was an alias commonly used by entrepreneur Rod Portlyn. Portlyn had a number of dummy corporations established under the name Benzev Kaz, in order to hide certain activities of his more legitimate businesses.

In 2377, following the collapse of Portlyn's business empire, he used the Kaz alias to run up a large tab at the Starlight Casino and Hotel, and to make a bid to purchase Aldo Corsi's freighting business. He used it again to bribe Ernesh-Flishmo, attorney to Patrice Bennett, in an effort to take control of her business holdings. (CoE eBook: The Art of the Comeback)
