Beta 5 computer

The Beta 5 computer was a form of artificial intelligence used by Aegis agents Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln. Located in Seven's offices in New York City, Beta 5 used voice interface (using a feminine voice), as well as an auxiliary interface resembling a small green cube. (TOS episode: "Assignment: Earth")

Roberta Lincoln tended to personalize the computer, even giving it the nickname "Betty." (ST - Star Trek: Assignment: Earth comic: "We Have Met the Enemy...")

She also tried to familiarize it with slang so that she wouldn't have to give orders in as precise a manner as Seven did. (TOS novel: Elusive Salvation)

At the same time, Lincoln often noted that the computer possessed an attitude. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)

The Beta 5 was destroyed by Khan Noonien Singh on 9 November 1989. Following its destruction, the Beta 6 computer was installed as a replacement. (TOS novels: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1, The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 2) By the 2050s, Flint used the computer for his own interests. (ST short story: "The Immortality Blues")
