Beta Piscis Australis (also known as Beta Piscis Austrini or 17 Piscis Austrini) is a star system, a binary star in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. This binary consists of two type A blue-white stars in the constellation of Piscis Austrinus, located 148 light-years from Earth, in the general vicinity of Beta Herculis. (ST reference: Star Charts)
