Bethulia III is a Federation planet within the Organian Treaty Zone in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant. It had a growing metallurgy industry in the 2260s.
History[]
In 2269, four million metric tons of heavy chromium and other duralloy ores were shipped to Bethulia III in ore freighters. The ore would be processed on Bethulia III, then used to build as many as three deep-space starships. The USS Enterprise escorted the empty freighter convoy en route to picking up the ores on Carson's World. (TOS - Log Two novelization: The Lorelei Signal)
