For other uses, see Betty.

Betty was a member of the Q Continuum who operated their emergency "telephone" switchboard.

Biography[]

In 1999, a time traveling Spock and Q shook hands, but the contact inadvertently swapped their personalities and left them on an asteroid hurtling toward Earth. Q sent a mental SOS to the Continuum. Betty responded by phoning them back. But she didn't think Q sounded like Q. Spock talked to her about it having been eons since they'd spoken, and that they'd once talked about going snorkeling in the Maldives, then invited her on a date. She had another call and hung up, but said she might call back after her break. Q snidely commented that Betty looked every one of her million years of age. (ST audiobook: Spock vs. Q: The Sequel)
