Big Ox

Big Ox was a literary character featured in Artie's Gals comic books, a publication that was known in the 23rd century.

History and specifics[]

Big Ox attended a fictional 20th century high school in Brookdale on the planet Earth and sometimes bullied other students.

In the year 2269, after discovering he was the writer/artist in what appeared to be a comic book alternate reality, Captain Daniel Fontana brought Starfleet officers into the Artie's Gals comic for his amusement. Big Ox confronted Captain James T. Kirk, Commander Spock, M'Ress, and Nyota Uhura in a hallway, insulted Spock, and demanded money to let them pass. When Spock refused, his buddies attacked the officers. Spock knocked out Big Ox with a Vulcan nerve pinch. (TAS comic: "The Scheimer Barrier")

Big Ox's analog in Archie Comics was "Moose" Mason.
