Bira is a star with an associated system of six planets located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant. Bira III is the homeworld of the Garda and Stoyak.

History and specifics[edit | edit source]

In 2270, James T. Kirk presented an overview of the system in the briefing room of the starship USS Enterprise. Starfleet sent the Enterprise to Bira after two warring humanoid species on Bira III asked for peace mediation. (TOS comic: "A World Against Itself")
