Bishop was a Human male Earth Starfleet enlisted crewman, a member of the Enterprise's armory crew under Lieutenant Malcolm Reed.
In 2152, Bishop was a member of a landing party that responded to a distress call sent from a Sarkassian outpost. A few days later, he and Crewman Diaz were assigned to guard duty over Kostal Goridian. (ENT novel: What Price Honor?)
