Human cannonball

Kartakkan Cannonball at the Exposition.

Bitinga's Traveling Wonderment Exposition was a 24th century old-style expo that included a circus, concessions, and other entertainment.

History and specifics[]

The exposition was owned and operated by the Bitinga Brothers, with Bitinga serving as the ringmaster. Circus acts included acrobats on the flying trapeze, Zenas Zorrh's snake-pit, a number of clowns, and Kartakkan Cannonball with his "human" cannonball show. Many of the performers were Thuranian. A concession stand operator claimed to serve only healthy beverages, and not prune juice. (TNG comic: "The Rich and the Dead!")

In 2369, one performer danced while balancing atop the tip of a pyramid-shaped rock hefted by an associate. At one point Q possessed the dancer to monitor activities of visitors from the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG comic: "Reductions & Deductions")

During a show on Beta Maradi VII, Deanna Troi exposed the exposition as a front for a rare animal smuggling operation. (TNG comic: "Hidden Agendas!")
