Biography[]
In the year 2380, Henderson was the commanding officer of the USS Venture when it escorted a delegation of Trinni/ek to Earth to a state dinner with Federation President Nanietta Bacco. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
In late November 2385, Henderson was in his early 50s. He took Venture to patrol the Lembatta Cluster as part of a twenty-ship Starfleet task force. After taking aboard Admiral Gepta, Henderson diverted Venture to rendezvous with three battle-seeking Klingon vessels in the Theris system, and jointly apprehended the Renao ship Coumatha in orbit of Theris XI. On 1 December 2385, Gepta had Henderson redeploy the task force and Venture to join an engagement in the Souhla system, home of the Purifying Flame's shipyard base of operations.
