Boaden Ackles was a human male serving in the Federation Starfleet in the late-24th century.
In March 2384, while Captain Morgan Bateson and Commander Sophie Fawkes were on Orion, second officer Lieutenant Commander Ackles was in command of the USS Atlas. When the Gorn starship Hastur-zolis moved against the Atlas, Ackles ordered the shields raised and weapons locked. However, both he and the Gorn commanding officer, Gith Saroz, were talked down from their posturing by Lieutenant T'Ryssa Chen commanding the USS Enterprise-E.
