Bob Clark was a 23rd century Human man, a member of Starfleet who served as the commanding officer of the USS Rim Explorer in the 2270s decade.

Biography[]

By the 2270s, Captain Clark was a friend of Rear Admiral James T. Kirk.

In the year 2274, Clark and his crew participated in a rally race against five other Federation starships, including the USS Enterprise and USS Bold Venture. He was assigned to collect a batfish as part of the first leg of the race. While en route, Rim Explorer was attacked by a Free Trader starship in the Hydra Daco system. They were able to broadcast a distress signal, and survivors were rescued by the Enterprise before the Cutter-class vessel broke apart.

While recovering in sickbay, Clark told Kirk that Bold Venture ignored the distress call in favor of continuing the race. (TOS comic: "The Nogura Regatta")
