Bonaventure (C1-21)

The Bonaventure (C1-21) was a Terran warp drive prototype in service in the late 21st century. She was noted as a pioneer in the history of Earth's space program. (ST reference: Star Trek Chronology, DS9 episode: "The Nagus")

Zefram Cochrane's work on the Bonaventure was funded by Micah Brack, an alias of the immortal being known as Flint. (ST novel: Federation)

Nearly two centuries later, author Beverly Beachwood observed that Bonaventure's journey with Cochrane to Alpha Centauri was so famous that detailed historical records and interviews survived for each person on the ship. (TOS reference: Star Trek II Biographies)

A diagram of starships, including of this ship, was on display in Keiko O'Brien's classroom on Deep Space 9 in 2369. (DS9 episode: "The Nagus")

Less than a year later, a model of this ship was displayed in the same classroom. (DS9 episode: "Cardassians")
