A boneyard is a colloquial term for a disposal area for lifeforms' bodies or old vehicles.
Boneyard was a name given to the Rashanar Battle Site by the crew of the USS Juno. (TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time to Be Born)
- This is not the same "Boneyard" mentioned in the The Genesis Wave novels.
