Boqu system (or the Boquian system) was a star system near the edge of the galaxy in the Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
It was located far outside Federation territory, several weeks travel from Lactra at warp four along a right angle course to the ecliptic. The system's star, a type K0 orange dwarf star, was described as a cinder with a weak gravitational field. Its outermost planets were barren rocks.
The Boqu system's orbit was the location of eight worlds, including second planet Boqu II and three gas giants. Only Boqu II supported life. (TAS - Log Eight novelization: The Eye of the Beholder)
