The Borg wedge was a type of starship used by the Borg Collective in the 2370s. The wedge featured a specialised transporter system to expediate tranfer of drones to a vessel targeted for assimilation. The Borg fleets which participated in the Borg Invasion of 2377 included numerous wedge-type vessels. (TNG video game: Armada II)
