Lieutenant Commander Borido was a 23rd century human man, a Starfleet officer assigned to the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the late 2260s decade.

HistoryEdit

Lieutenant Commander Borido was assigned to the Enterprise's security division as security chief in the year 2269.

In 2269, he attended a crew briefing about recent events on the planet Anomaly in the recreation area on deck 20. He spoke for everyone in the security division, urging that the ship return to Anomaly to rescue six people stranded there. He pointed out that the indigenous telepathic Arivne allowed two security officers to die whom they could have saved. Kirk agreed that any rescue attempt should be motivated by compassion and concern, not revenge. (TOS novel: Planet of Judgment)
