The Boy Scouts of America was a part of an international Earth organization with the goal of supporting younger humans in their physical, mental and spiritual development, so that they may play constructive roles in society. The highest rank in the Boy Scout organization was Eagle Scout. The term "Boy Scout" was also used to refer to any person of integrity and strong moral standing regardless of whether they were part of the organization or not.

History and specifics[]

In the 20th century, Colonel Phillip Green had once been a scout, at least according to Q. (TNG - The Q Continuum novel: Q-Space)

In 2152, while investigating a rogue planet, Jonathan Archer and Malcolm Reed discussed their respective experiences as Boy Scouts; both had made the Eagle Scout rank. (ENT episode: "Rogue Planet")
