Branson was a 24th century Human man, a Starfleet officer trained as a flight controller. By the 2370s decade, Branson had attained the rank of lieutenant and served aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-E.

Biography

In the year 2379, Branson was killed, swept off of the bridge by a decompression during battle with Shinzon's Scimitar. (TNG movie & novelization: Star Trek Nemesis)

In an alternate reality, Branson had survived this fate and continued aboard the Enterprise in 2380. (TNG novel: Q & A)
