Kelvin timeline[]
In the Kelvin timeline according to Khan Noonien Singh, Brazil was the site of a secret Augment genetic engineering laboratory in the 1970s, similar to the Bombay group school that enhanced Khan. In the 1980s the Augments used it as a training facility. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 2")
In September 1992 Augment Dictator Asahf Ferris annexed Brazil into the South American Union. By 1996, Alexander Newton took control of the northern third of Brazil for his New American Empire, with the rest being part of the Ferris Dominion.
