Brentalia was a planet located in orbit of the Brentalia star system[1] in Sector Brentalia[1], somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

Endangered lifeforms from different worlds in and around the 24th century boundaries of the Federation were brought to Brentalia for refuge. Two of the last fourteen surviving gilvos of Corvan II were transported by the USS Enterprise-D here for refuge breeding in the year 2368. (TNG episode: "New Ground")

At some point prior to stardate 45832.1, Lieutenant Commander Worf had taken his son Alexander Rozhenko to see the planet's zoo, and they saw a Kryonian tiger. (TNG episode: "Imaginary Friend")

It was not alluded to whether this was a Federation world, or if it was a planet outside of Federation space. Worf and Alexander probably visited the zoo when the Enterprise-D dropped off the gilvos.
