Brentis was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
The Brentis system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including sixth planet, Brentis VI, site of a 2360s decade outbreak of Fulgian rust, which destroyed crop plants over two consecutive years. In 2364, the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D went to Brentis on an urgent mission to deliver a consignment of Droghenian wheat, which was resistant to the disease, before its specified planting time.
